How to Help Someone Struggling
- Listen first: "I see you haven't started the course yet. What's getting in the way?"
- Time issue? → Block calendar time
- Too hard? → Try AI Coach (available 24/7)
- Not relevant? → Talk to admin about alternatives
- Motivation? → "Let's set a goal together"
SMART Goal Framework
- Specific: "Get HubSpot certified" (not just "take a course")
- Measurable: "Pass the final assessment with 85%+"
- Achievable: "2 hours/week for 8 weeks" (realistic)
- Relevant: "Will help you in your client role"
- Time-bound: "Complete by end of Q2"
What NOT to Do
- Don't scold someone for not finishing a course
- Don't force courses that aren't relevant
- Don't make learning feel like punishment
- Don't ignore learning entirely — it matters!
