10-Minute Weekly Check-In

  1. Check progress → Log in, see your team's courses
  2. Celebrate wins → "Great job finishing Python 101!"
  3. Ask questions → "How's the HubSpot course going?"
  4. Remove obstacles → "Need time Friday afternoon? Take it."
  5. Encourage → "I want to see you certified in HubSpot by June"

How to Help Someone Struggling

  • Listen first: "I see you haven't started the course yet. What's getting in the way?"
  • Time issue? → Block calendar time
  • Too hard? → Try AI Coach (available 24/7)
  • Not relevant? → Talk to admin about alternatives
  • Motivation? → "Let's set a goal together"

SMART Goal Framework

  • Specific: "Get HubSpot certified" (not just "take a course")
  • Measurable: "Pass the final assessment with 85%+"
  • Achievable: "2 hours/week for 8 weeks" (realistic)
  • Relevant: "Will help you in your client role"
  • Time-bound: "Complete by end of Q2"

What NOT to Do

  • Don't scold someone for not finishing a course
  • Don't force courses that aren't relevant
  • Don't make learning feel like punishment
  • Don't ignore learning entirely — it matters!
